What is Chito-Ryu?

Chito - Ryu

Karate was created by

Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose.

The style he developed

was created with

efficiency and continued

practice in mind. In the

earlier years, karate

training caused damage

to the body. Dr. Chitose

wanted to create a style

and means of practice

that would not pose

harmful effects on the

body. Dr. Chitose stated

that Chito-Ryu is based

on the understanding

of anatomy and

physiology.

The CRAO is hosting this amazing day of demos, food, friends, and fun at Senator O'Connor College in Toronto (North York). An amazing demonstration of traditional Japanese drumming will be there, as will sword demos, and a few other great presentations. It will be held on Sunday, January 29th from 1pm to 3:30pm, and is free for all to attend. We welcome all of our Chito Ryu family and friends, and hope to see as many people out as possible.
